We will soon be setting out on more daytrips around Nova Scotia, one returning trip will be to Crescent Beach and the LaHave Islands near Bridgewater, nice views and if the sun is out a great beach.
Bridgewater is a wonderful town on the Lahave river, roads runs along both sides of the river, on the southwest side you can find Lahave a small village with a great place for a snack The Lahave Bakery. Here you can take the cable ferry to the other side of the river, or stay on this side and head down the Dublin shore to Crescent Beach, this beach you can park on the sand. The road that starts at the beach will also take you to the Lahave Islands a great kayaking area.
